Q: How do I install Wiideo Center? A: Just unzip and run! All needed Files are included, you don't even need to install a Java Runtime Enviroment!
Q: At the end of the first segment(s) the Video stops and the next segment won't load! A: The Flashplayer cannot know the exact end of the first segment(s) so it just assumes and end. This could take some time, but if it won't reload automatically, just scroll to the bottom of the page and select the next segment manually. As soon as your PC has buffered one segment ahead this isn't an issue anymore.
Q: An error occured, what should i do? A: Try reloading the current page and if possible leave a bug-message at the Sourceforge Page.
Q: Why is my Video splitted after 6 Minutes or so? A: The Wii has limited memory for Flash-Videos, so in the default setting only 6 minutes of Video gets streamed, the the page reloads, the old Video Stream gets deleted and a new segment will be streamed.
Q: Why is the Video so slow? A: Decoding Flash-Videos requires a decent amount of CPU-Power. At the current setting its a bit of a trade of between Quality and Speed. As soon as the Wii gets a newer Flash Version (currently 7) all things should speed up. Read this for more Information.
Q: Why can't i use the seek-bar while watching the first segment(s) ? A: The Flash-Player can't determine the full size of the Video if its not fully encoded. So you have to wait until your PC is at least one segment ahead of your Wii. On a Pentium M with 1.3 GHz this happens after the second segment or 12 Minutes. If you reduce the segment duration then you can reduce the time needed to finish a segment ahead.
Q: Is Wiideo Center using Internet Bandwith ? A: Nope. Transcoding and streaming is completly local. The only thing that is using your Bandwith is the Update-Service (~ 1 kb per Check) which you can deactivate in the Preferences dialog.
